Mason Wang named All-Middle Atlantic Region

FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College's Mason Wang was named to the All-Middle Atlantic Region Second Team. 

He is the first Blazer named to the all-region team since Chris Cook earned first team honors after the 2014-15 season. 

Wang ranked among the leaders in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth in scoring (fourth, 17.9 ppg), 3-point field goal percentage (eighth, .377), 3-point field goals per game (2.3), free throw percentage (fifth, .816), made free throws (fourth, 115), assist/turnover ratio (second, 2.1) and steals (second, 2.0). He scored at least 20 points on 11 occasions, including a 36-point outburst in a win over Lebanon Valley and a 41-point effort in the ECAC Tournament against Grove City. He was twice named the conference player of the week.

He helped lead the Blazers to a 17-10 record, the second seed in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament and the top seed in the ECAC Tournament.
