FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College field hockey team earned their first victory of the season in a 3-1 win over the visiting Chargers of Lancaster Bible.

How it Happened

  • Laurann Rowe scored the first goal of the game on a penalty stroke, giving the Blazers an early lead.
  •  Sage Barnhart added an unassisted goal in the second quarter, and Julia Cencetti scored the final goal off of an assist from Bahoric in the 54th minute.
  • Lancaster Bible's Brooke Sareyka scored in the third quarter off of a pass from Nicole DeKok.


  • The Blazers outshot the Chargers 10 to 6.
  • Lancaster Bible's Chloe Campbell recorded one save.
