LEBANON VALLEY, Pa.--The Hood College women's cross country team placed 10th out of 14 teams competing at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational Saturday.

Senior Danielle Sgro finished 23rd of 144 runners with a time of 21:15.68. The freshman duo of Maria Moss and Sarah Morris finished within 15 seconds of one another, completing the course in 24:00.89 and 24:14.13, respectively. Sophomore Sam Smith (27:02.26) and senior Kelly Keyser (27:10.61) completed the scoring for the Blazers.

Messiah College won the meet with 43 points while the University of Mary Washington's Hayley Sullivan paced the field with a clocking of 19:03.91.

Hood's next meet is slated for next Saturday, Sept. 13, at Wilmington College.
