FREDERICKSBURG, Va.--The Hood College volleyball team (2-18, 0-8 CAC) fell to the University of Mary Washington Eagles (18-9, 5-3 CAC) 3-0 (25-16, 25-6, 25-13) Wednesday evening in a Capital Athletic Conference match.

Kristina Straub had 12 digs, five assists, two blocks and two kills while Lena Bushrod added nine digs for the Blazers.

Hood will wrap up the regular season Thursday hosting Catholic University on Senior Day at Gambrill Gymnasium. The Blazers will honor Christienne Burrell, Jamie Gardner and Bailey Runkles before the contest.
