YORK, Pa.--The York College Spartans (23-5, 5-2 CAC) swept a Capital Athletic Conference match from the Hood College volleyball team (3-20, 0-6 CAC) by scores of 30-14, 30-21 and 30-18.

Senior Lindsey Nagy notched seven kills and six digs while junior Jamie Gardner put down five kills, added seven digs and had a solo block. Senior Ashley Bryan collected a pair of kills and solo blocks while sophomore Leah Garland set up seven Blazer kills.

York was led by Lindsay Shorner's match-high 13 kills and .423 hitting percentage. Shorner is ranked second in the league in kills on the season.

Hood returns home Thursday to host CAC opponent Mary Washington at 7 p.m. at Gambrill Gym.
