WASHINGTON, D.C.--The Gallaudet University volleyball team (12-8, 4-1 CAC) picked up a 3-0 (10-30, 17-30, 22-30) Capital Athletic Conference victory over the Hood College Blazers (2-16, 0-5 CAC) Wednesday evening.

Lindsey Nagy tallied four kills while freshman Katie Worthington added three and Kristina Straub put down a pair. Worthington also registered three blocks, including two solos. Junior Jamie Gardner led the defense with 12 digs while freshman Lena Bushrod chipped in 10.

Hood returns home this weekend to host Shenandoah University and Lynchburg College in a tri-match Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.
