SALISBURY, Md.--The Hood College volleyball team (2-14, 0-4 CAC) suffered a 3-0 defeat (17-30, 20-30, 17-30) at the hands of the Salisbury University Sea Gulls (14-5, 3-0 CAC) Thursday in a Capital Athletic Conference match.

Senior Lindsey Nagy registered seven kills and seven digs while classmate Ashley Bryan put down five kills and tallied five digs. Junior Jamie Gardner added four kills and six digs and freshman Kristina Straub notched 12 assists.

The Blazers return home Monday hosting Catholic University at 7 p.m. in a nonconference match at Gambrill Gymnasium.
