Hamor Wins the Javelin in Hood's First Outdoor Meet

SALISBURY, Md.--Sophomore Erica Hamor won the women's javelin with a toss of 26.42 meters as the Hood College women's track and field team opened its outdoor campaign Saturday at Salisbury University.
Danielle Sgro took second place in the 5000-meter run in a time of 20:11.40. Katie Thomas was Hood's top finisher in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.20 seconds and completed the 100-meter high hurdles in 18.0 seconds.
