FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College women's tennis team (2-3) posted a decisive 9-0 victory over Chestnut Hill College Saturday at the Baker Park Tennis Courts.

Hood posted five of its six singles victories in straight sets. Larisa Buriak knocked off Karen Guwunro in three sets, 6-1, 3-6, 10-4.

The Blazers also posted victories at all three doubles positions.

Hood next faces the College of Notre Dame (Md.) at 3:30 p.m. at the Baker Park Tennis Courts.
