TOWSON, Md.--The Hood College men's and women's tennis team dropped a pair of matches to Capital Athletic Conference rival Goucher College Wednesday. The men (5-9, 1-4 CAC) lost 8-1 while the women (5-10, 0-3 CAC) fell 9-0.

Robert Khitrik won Hood's lone singles match on the afternoon at the No. 5 spot, defeating Doug Mangi 6-3, 6-2.

After playing three matches in three days, the men's squad will take five days off before returning to action Tuesday at the University of Mary Washington. The women's squad will also enjoy a week-long respite before returning home to host Trinity University Wednesday.
