FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's swim team was defeated by Albright 149-39 during a Middle Atlantic Commonwealth Conference meet.
How It Happened
- Kate Sanborn finished first in the women's 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:31.90 earning nine points. Her second-place finish in the women's 100-yard breaststroke earned four points after a time of 1:10.92.
- In the women's 100-yard backstroke, Brianna Hand-Solomon's time of 1:03.45 earned nine points and a first-place finish. She was second in the women's 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:08.92 earning four points.
- Miranda Smith earned three points after a third-place finish in the women's 1650 yard freestyle.
- Hood earned another four points after a second-place finish in the women's 200-yard medley relay with a team comprised of Hand-Solomon, Sanborn, Smith, and Taylor Greenbaum came in at 2:06.69.
Hood travels to Lebanon Valley for a Middle Atlantic Commonwealth Conference meet on January 20 at 2 p.m.
