Sea Gulls Down Blazer Women, 110-41

SALISBURY, Md.--The Hood College women's swim team (0-6, 0-4 CAC) dropped a 110-41 Capital Athletic Conference dual meet to the Salisbury University Sea Gulls (4-4, 3-2 CAC) Saturday afternoon.

Erica Hamor placed third in the 200 free (2:26.78), fourth in the 100 fly (1:18.75) and earned first-place points in the 100 breast (1:29.33).

Jennifer Graham took fifth in the 200 free (3:11.00) and earned first-place points in the 400 free (6:46.94).

Kristen Kucharski finished fourth in both the 50 free (32.45) and the 100 free (1:10.94).

Taryn Scafide was fifth in the 50 free (35.55) and fourth in the 100 back (1:30.62).

Aleece Groom came in fourth in the 200 IM (3:00.39) and fifth in the 100 back (1:41.88).

Andrea Haines placed fifth in the 200 IM (3:18.11) and second in the 100 breast (1:37.96).

The 400 medley relay team of Scafide, Haines, Kucharski and Groom placed fourth in 5:25.00.

Hood's next meet is slated for Saturday at nonconference foe Frostburg State University at 2 p.m.
