FREDERICK, Md.--Junior Kristen Kucharski was a double winner for the Hood College women's swim team (0-5) as the Blazers captured five individual events in a loss to the College of Notre Dame (Md.) Gators.

Kucharski took top honors in the 200 butterfly (2:48.92) and the 100 butterfly (1:15.43). Aleece Groom paced the field in the 100 breaststroke (1:23.58) and Andrea Haines and Taryn Scafide earned nine points apiece for their efforts in the 200 breaststroke and 200 individual medley, respectively.

Hood's 200 freestyle relay of Kucharski, Groom, Scafide and Haines turned in a winning time of 2:08.92.

The Blazers are idle until Dec. 4 when the squad travels to Ashland, Va., for the Randolph-Macon Invitational.
