Hamor Wins Two Events Versus Marymount

FREDERICK, Md.--Senior Erica Hamor took top honors in the 100 butterfly and the 100 breaststroke for the Hood College women's swim team (0-4, 0-3 CAC) in an 84-57 Capital Athletic Conference loss to Marymount University at the Huntsinger Aquatic Center Saturday afternoon.
Hamor turned in her top time of the season in the 100 fly (1:09.00) and clocked in a time of 1:17.60 in the 100 breast.
Taryn Scafide took third in the 200 free (2:51.48) and the 100 back (1:24.25).
Jen Graham came in fourth in the 200 free (2:56.53) and chopped over 19 seconds off her 500 free time to take third (7:40.55).
Kristen Kucharski won the 100 free in season-best time of 1:02.61 and finished third in the 50 free (28.35).
Andrea Haines placed fifth in the 50 free (33.93) and set a season-best time while finishing second in the 100 breast (1:27.65).
Aleece Groome was third in the 200 IM (2:39.13) and shaved more than six seconds off her 500 free time and took second (6:19.65).
Hood's final home meet of the season is slated for Saturday against the College of Notre Dame (Md.) at 2 p.m.
