Karen Wiese joined the Hood women's soccer coaching staff as an assistant in fall 2011.

Wiese is a 2003 graduate of Mount St. Mary's University and earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education. She was a three-year letterwinner and appeared in 24 games for the Mounties at midfield.  

Wiese served as the junior varsity coach at Linganore High School from 2008-10 and at Catoctin High School from 2006-07, and currently works at The Arc of Frederick County as a Transitioning Youth Support Coordinator.
