WASHINGTON, D.C.--Sarah Balukoff and Brandy Noel scored five goals apiece to lead to the Hood College women's lacrosse team (4-11) to a decisive 17-0 victory over Trinity University Tuesday in nonconference action.

Jen Graham and Kelsey Blackwell both scored a pair of goals while Lauren Perzan, Brittany Hurt and Britney Colandreo added single tallies for the Blazers, who led 12-0 at halftime. Lauren Lieb made two saves in the net and picked up the third shutout of her career.

The Blazers, winners of three in a row and four of their last five, return to action Sunday at Salisbury University in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference tournament.
