Women's Lax Drops 19-3 Decision at Chestnut Hill


PHILADELPHIA, Pa.--Brandy Noel, Jen Graham and Sarah Balukoff all registered single tallies for the Hood College women's lacrosse team (0-5) in a 19-3 nonconference loss to Chesnut Hill College (1-1) Sunday.

Additionally, senior goalie Lauren Lieb became the all-time saves leader in Hood College women's lacrosse history. Her 11 saves today brings her four-year total to 340.

Chesnut Hill scored the first 12 goals of the first half before Noel netted her sixth goal of the season in the final minute. Graham and Balukoff then notched back-to-back goals within a span of 2:36 to start the second half. Kelsey Blackwell was credited with an assist on Graham's score.

The Blazers return to action Tuesday hosting Capital Athletic Conference rival York College (Pa.) at 4 p.m. at Thomas Athletic Field.
