FREDERICK, Md.--Sophomores Sarah Balukoff, Lauren Perzan and Brandy Noel all scored for the Hood College women's lacrosse team (0-3, 0-2 CAC) in a 21-4 loss to the visiting Marymount University Saints (1-0, 1-0 CAC) Saturday afternoon at Thomas Athletic Field.

Balukoff netted a pair of goals while Perzan and Noel each contributed a goal and an assist. Marymount's SpringAnne Hatfield tied a Capital Athletic Conference record with 13 points on six goals and seven assists. Anna Sody also had six goals for the Saints, who scored the first six goals of the game and led 12-2 at halftime.

Lauren Leib made six saves in the net and now needs only 16 more to become Hood's all-time leader in that category.

The Blazers next travel to St. Mary's College (Md.) Wednesday for a CAC contest at 3 p.m.
