AURORA, N.Y.--The second-seeded Hood College women's lacrosse team lost to the top-seeded College of Notre Dame (Md.) Gators, 11-2, Sunday in the championship game of the Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference tournament.

Hood ends its season with a record of 4-9.

The Blazers found themselves in a 10-0 hole at halftime, but Laurie Burrier and Liz Rakowski got the Blazers on the board with a goal apiece in the second half.

Lauren Lieb registered seven saves in the losing effort for the Blazers.
