An all-county honorable mention pick as a freshman and sophomore, Andrukat was picked for the all-county second team as a junior and senior and made the all-MVAL first team last year. Smithsburg won the Pap Draper tournament title three consecutive years and Andrukat landed on the all-tournament team each year. She also played soccer at Smithsburg and received numerous academic accolades, including being inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (2011) as well as participating in the 2012 SkillsUSA Career Pathways Showcase.

Additionally, Scott was a member of the Student Government Association (2009-11) and the National English Honor Society (2010-12).

Kessler (pictured bottom right) is a forward who transferred to Hood from Salisbury University (did not compete at SU). She graduated from Middletown High School in 2011 and earned two varsity letters in basketball and three varsity letters in soccer. Kessler and the Knights captured the Maryland 2A state championship in soccer while the basketball team finished with a record of 21-7 and advanced to the title game. Kessler led the Knights in assists, rebounds and steals and was a second team all-area pick by the Frederick Gazette and an honorable mention choice by the Frederick News-Post. She made the honor roll all four years at Middletown and was a Maryland Distinguished Scholar.
