FREDERICK, Md.--The Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) will be holding a "Pennies for the Poor" fundraiser at Hood's next two home basketball doubleheaders.

Proceeds collected from the Villa Julie (Jan. 19, 6/8 p.m.) and York (Jan. 26, 2/4 p.m.) doubleheaders will be donated to the Heartly House, which helps to provide care for victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.

Please help by contributing to this worthy cause this Saturday and next Saturday at Gov. Thomas Johnson High School.
