Barrick, Regional All-Stars to Square Off Against U.S. National Team

Hood College softball coach Kate Barrick and other former college softball standouts will travel with a regional all-star team to historic Bowman Field Thursday to take on the U.S. National Team as part of its "Bound 4 Beijing" tour.

A total of 42 senior student-athletes were recognized for their academic and athletic accomplishments at the second annual Senior Student-Athlete Awards Banquet at the Whitaker Campus Center at Hood College Sunday evening.

Softball Team to Hold Alumni Game, Picnic Saturday

The Hood College softball team's season-ending doubleheader with Frostburg State University slated for Saturday has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. However, the team will be holding an alumni game Saturday at 4:30 p.m. with a team picnic to follow at 5:30 p.m.
