2006: First-team All-AWCC selection … Enjoyed the finest season of any pitcher in Hood history … Finished 16-6 with a 2.75 earned run average … Established school records for wins, appearances (29), starts (21), complete games (17), shutouts (7), saves (2), innings pitched (140) and strikeouts (116) … Against AWCC competition, went 6-1 with a stellar 0.67 ERA and tossed five complete games, including four shutouts … Gave up just four earned runs, struck out 43, walked just four and held AWCC opponents to a paltry .156 batting average in 41.2 innings … Also hit .316 (6-for-19) with a walk, a triple, five RBIs and five runs scored on the season … Tossed the first no-hitter in school history against Chatham April 9, striking out six and walking two in a 13-0, five-inning contest … Combined with Lisa Green to no-hit Christendom April 29, throwing the first four perfect innings and striking out six … Held Hilbert to just three hits and one earned in her first career start to earn a 10-1, five-inning win … Allowed just two hits and struck out eight in an 8-0, six-inning victory over Mount Aloysius March 19 … Fired a three-hit, five-inning shutout and fanned six against Trinity March 24 … Held Wilson to just three hits and struck out a school-record 10 in a 7-0 win March 30 … Won all three of Hood’s games in the AWCC Tournament, combining to allow three earned runs and 18 hits while striking out 18 and walking just two in 17 innings … Tossed a four-hit shutout and fanned eight in the AWCC Tournament opener against Chestnut Hill May 6.
HIGH SCHOOL: Named second-team All-MVAL Chesapeake in 2003 and second-team All-Carroll County in 2005 … Also played for Freedom Firebirds Fastpitch Softball team from 2001-2005 and helped her team win first place at Freedom NSA Qualifer in 2004 … Helped the Liberty volleyball team capture the 2003 and 2004 Maryland Class 2A state titles ... Over her junior and senior years, team went a combined 38-0, won back-to-back MVAL Chesapeake Division titles and finished ranked No. 1 by the Baltimore Sun ... Named All-MVAL Chesapeake honorable mention in 2003 and earned the team's Unsung Hero Award and second-team All-MVAL Chesapeake honors in 2004 ...
