at NCAA Mid-East Regional … Best finish of year came in
Hood’s inaugural home meet when he placed fourth overall
… Finished 22nd at the Wilmington Invitational and also
showed well at the Mid-Atlantic Classic by finishing 52nd.
HIGH SCHOOL: Led Pompton Lakes High School to the
Bergen-Passiac Scholastic League Championship in 2003 and twice
earned First-Team All-BPSL honors … Named the team’s
Most Valuable Runner as a senior while serving as a team captain
… Named the squad’s Most Improved Runner as a junior
… Was also an All-BPSL performer in both indoor and outdoor
track and the BPSL champion in the 3,200-meter run as a junior
… Earned the indoor track team’s Most Improved Runner
award in 2003 and was the outdoor track team’s Most Valuable
Runner as a sophomore and Most Improved Runner as a junior.
