Crossey breaks four minutes in 1500 at MAC Championships

CHESTER, Pa. - Hood College's Zach Crossey became the first runner in school history to break four minutes in the 1500-meter run to lead the Blazers on the final day of the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships. 

How it Happened

  • Crossey shattered his own school record by over 10 seconds with a time of 3:59.85. He finished sixth. 
  • Crossey added another school record in the 4x400-meter relay. He ran the second leg, joining PJ Alexander, R.J. Tucker and AJ Lewis to run a time of 3:28.39. They finished eighth.
  • Kyle Bulgarelli threw the javelin 44.96 meters (147-6). 


  • Hood was 11th with 14 points. 
  • Stevenson and Widener tied for first with 173 points. 
  • The Blazers set school records in five events at the championships.
