Phil Yerby was credited with a sixth singles win via forfeit. David Blowe and Garrett Loomer knocked off Hunter and Liam McDonald at third doubles, 8-3, for Hood's lone doubles point.

In the decisive singles match at the No. 5 spot, Kenny Smith captured the first set 6-2, but Hunter rallied to upend Smith 7-5 in the second set and hung on to win 6-2 in the third to lift the Rams to victory.
