ST. MARY'S CITY, Md.--The Hood College men's tennis team (0-3, 0-1 CAC) dropped its first match of the spring, 7-2, to the St. Mary's College Seahawks (4-4, 1-1 CAC) Thursday.

Michael Hardman topped Jeremy Butanis at first singles, 6-3, 7-6 (2) while Aboubacar Camara knocked off Jeff Levy at the No. 2 spot, 6-2, 7-5. The Seahawks earned straight set victories in the other four singles matches and swept all three double matches to earn the win.

Hood's next match is slated for Wednesday at Salisbury University at 3:30 p.m.
