HILTON HEAD, S.C.--The Hood College men's tennis team dropped its first two matches on its Spring Break trip to Hilton Head.

The Blazers (1-2) were blanked by Messiah 9-0 Monday and suffered an 8-1 setback to Knox Tuesday.

Messiah simply overpowered Hood in Monday's match, as the Blazers won just six games.

Freshman Colin Reitman picked up Hood's lone win against Knox, rallying for a 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 3 singles.

The Blazers return to action Friday against Missouri Valley College at 2 p.m.
