FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College men's swim team (1-7, 0-6 CAC) fell to the University of Mary Washington Eagles (9-2, 6-0) by a final of 146-30 Saturday in the regular season finale for the Blazers.

Jason Kinder won the 500 free (5:12.13) and was fourth in the 200 free (1:55.72). Matt Haynes finished second in both the 50 free (22.53) and the 100 fly (58.06). A.J. Smith came in fifth in the 50 free (30.16) and the 100 breast (1:23.49). Robert Ennis was third in both the 100 free (54.22) and the 100 breast (1:06.88). Kyle Atras placed fifth in both the 200 free (2:32.62) and the 100 free (1:08.91).

The Blazers next travel to St. Mary's College (Md.) Feb. 15-17 for the 2008 Capital Athletic Conference championships.
