Kinder, Atras, Ennis Win Events in 117-55 Loss to York


FREDERICK, Md.--Senior Jason Kinder and freshmen Kyle Atras and Robert Ennis all won individual events but the Hood College men's swim team (0-2, 0-2 CAC) lost to the York College Spartans (1-0, 1-0 CAC), 117-55, Saturday at the Hood Aquatics Center.

Kinder captured top honors in the 1000 free (11:06.23), while Atras took first in the 500 free (7:35.28) and Ennis won the 200 breast (2:33.85).

Matt Haynes placed second in the 200 free (1:56.81) and third in the 100 free (51.12) and Brian Cassidy took fifth in both the 50 free (26.23) and 100 free (1:01.94).

Hood will be idle until Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 when the squad travels to Ashland, Va., for the Randolph-Macon Invitational.
