Swimmers Travel to Salisbury for CAC Dual

SALISBURY, Md.--The Hood College men's swim team (0-5, 0-4 CAC) lost to the Salisbury University Sea Gulls (4-4, 3-2 CAC), 110-52, in a Capital Athletic Conference dual meet Saturday.
Ethan Weidman came in fourth in the 200 free (2:27.08) and earned first-place points in the 400 free (5:20.82).
Thomas Williams placed fifth in the 200 free (3:11.04) and second in the 100 breast (1:37.56).
Matthew Benoit finished fourth in the 50 free (27.56).
Carlin Rabie touched the wall fifth in both the 50 free (27.89) and the 100 free (1:04.08).
Chris Moreland came in third in the 200 IM (2:31.56) and fourth in the 100 free (59.69).
Kyle Atras took fifth in the 200 IM (3:24.85) and fourth in the 100 back (1:36.11).
Andrew Bodine was fourth in the 100 fly (1:09.94) and earned first-place points in the 100 breast (1:18.05).
The 400 medley relay team of Rabie, Williams, Benoit and Atras took fourth in 5:22.28 while the 400 free relay team of Moreland, Benoit, Weidman and Bodine garnered first-place points with a clocking of 4:11.63.
Hood travels to Frostburg State University Saturday for a 2 p.m. nonconference meet.
