Marymount Tops Men's Swimming, 89-57
FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College men's swim team (0-4, 0-3 CAC) dropped an 89-57 Capital Athletic Conference meet to the Marymount University Saints Saturday at the Huntsinger Aquatic Center.
Chris Moreland captured third in the 200 free (2:01.05) and second in the 500 free (6:08.39).
Matthew Benoit was third in the 50 free (28.85) and second in the 100 free (1:08.04).
Kyle Atras finished fourth in the 50 free (29.93), third in the 100 free (1:08.62) and fourth in the 500 free (7:17.18).
Thomas Williams came in fifth in the 50 free (32.21), fourth in the 100 free (1:14.12) and second in the 100 breast (1:25.45). All three times were season-bests.
Ethan Weidman touched the wall third in the 200 IM (2:31.25) and earned first-place points in the 100 back (1:11.45). Both times were season-bests.
Andrew Bodine took second in the 100 fly (1:01.22) and earned first-place points in the 100 breast (1:09.40).
Hood is idle until Dec. 4-5 when it travels to the Randolph-Macon Invitational.
