Former Mount St. Mary's University forward Jeff Ormiston begins his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Blazer men's soccer program.

A four-year letterwinner at the Mount, Ormiston is originally from Sherman, Conn., and earned a bachelor of science degree in business in May 2007. In 68 games, he scored five goals and added two assists for 12 points. Three of his tallies were either game-winners or game-tying goals.

Ormiston came to the Mount from Brookfield High School where he amassed 66 goals in his prep career. A two-time all-state and all-conference performer, he led his squad to three consecutive Southwest Conference runner-up finishes.

Ormiston also served as a counselor and coach with GFS Soccer Solutions and assisted with the Dave Caetano Soccer Camp.
