Brandon Nicholson begins his second season with the Blazer men's soccer coaching staff in 2011.
A 2010 graduate of Goucher College, Nicholson played forward and midfield for the Gophers all four years. He appeared in 37 games and finished his collegiate career with two goals and three assists.
During his freshman year, he was a reserve in five games and was credited with an assist in a 7-0 win over Gallaudet. Then in 2007, Nicholson played in nine games and contributed a goal and an assist in a 7-0 blanking of Lancaster Bible. He was one of 18 players to contribute at least one Goucher goal that year.
As a junior in 2008, Nicholson saw action in eight games but did not figure statistically. In 2009, he appeared in 15 games with three starts. During his first collegiate start against Catholic, he scored Goucher's lone goal in a 2-1 setback. He also picked up an assist in a 2-2 draw against Delaware Valley.
Nicholson is originally from Germantown, Md., and attended Damascus High School.
