LYNCHBURG, Va.--Senior Will Oconis of the Hood College men's lacrosse team (0-12) netted his second hat trick of the season and Dominique Shorter added a single tally in a 26-4 loss to No. 10 Lynchburg College (6-2) Saturday evening.

Nicholas O'Brien made his first start in the net and racked up 13 saves on the night. Vince Shirbach won six face-offs for the Blazers.

Thirteen different Hornets found the back of the net for the hosts, who won their fourth contest in a row.

The Blazers return home Wednesday hosting Christopher Newport University at Thomas Athletic Field.
