ARLINGTON, Va.--The Marymount University men's lacrosse team scored the first eight goals of the game and went on to defeat the Hood College Blazers, 16-4, in a Capital Athletic Conference game Saturday afternoon.

Hood slips to 0-10 overall, 0-5 in the conference, while the Saints improve to 2-6 overall and 1-3 in the CAC.

Jason Anderson, Bryan Lentz, Sam Hofmann and Will Oconis all scored for the Blazers.

DJ Tayman netted five goals and a pair of assists for the victors.

Hood returns to action Wednesday at Goucher College at 3:30 p.m.
