Tom Dickman has served as the head coach of the men's golf team since the program's inception in 2005.
The Blazer linksmen compete in tournament across the region against some of the top programs in the Northeast.
Dickman mentored his first all-Capital Athletic Conference performer in 2008-09 when Evan Chaney, then a sophomore, earned all-league second team accoaldes.
This past season, Dickman's foursome of Andy Alger, Ira Benoit, Chaney and Aaron Prescott combined to post Hood's lowest team score ever, a 322, on the second day of competition at the CAC championship at Wild Quail Golf and Country Club in Camden-Wyoming, Del.
Hood placed fifth in the team standings at both the inaugural conference championship in 2008 as well as the 2010 championship.
Dickman, an associate director of athletics at Hood, has also served as Blazers' men's basketball coach since the 2003-04 season.
