Hood Linksmen Wrap Up Spring Season at Messiah

PALMERTON, Pa.--The Hood College men's golf team placed 16th of 18 teams competing at the Messiah Falcon Classic at Blue Ridge Country Club in the Blazers' final spring match of the season Tuesday afternoon. 

Kevin Baker was Hood's top finisher with a nine-over 82, good for 27th out of 89 participants. Michael Casadei finished with a 90, while Tyler Fairley carded a 91 in his final collegiate match and Patrick Cairo posted a 94.

Elizabethtown College's Ryan Laudeman and Franklin & Marshall's Robert Svigals tied for medalist honors with three-over 76s. Millersville University won the team title with a combined score of 310, seven shots better than runner-up Swarthmore College.
