Hood Men's Golf Finishes Fifth at CAC Championship

WYOMING, Del.--The Hood College men's golf team finished in fifth place at the 36-hole Capital Athletic Conference championship at Wild Quail Country Club.

The Blazers shot a two-round total of 718 on the 6,803-yard, par-72 course. Kevin Baker tied for 17th overall with a two-round tally of 164 (79-85). Michael Casadei was 24th with a 184 (93-91) and Patrick Cairo (91-94) and Tyler Fairley (88-97) rounded out the Blazer foursome with identical 185s.

Host Wesley College won the team crown with a 36-hole score of 615. WC's Bobby Ehrhardt fired a 145 (71-74) to snag medalist and CAC player of the year accolades. Stevenson University finished second (623) followed by York College (Pa.) in third (632) and Marymount University in fourth (642).

Hood wraps up the 2012 spring season Tuesday at the Messiah College Invitational.
