Hood Golfers Finish 13th at Franklin & Marshall Invitational

LITITZ, Pa.--The Hood College golf team finished 13th of 14 teams competing at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club Monday.

Kevin Baker and Michael Casadei were the top finishers for the Blazers, carding 85s on the par-71 course. Tyler Fairley shot a 94, Ira Benoit posted a 104 and Patrick Cairo registered a 113.

Hood finished with a team score of 368. The host Diplomat "blue" squad won the tournament with a +5 289, 17 shots ahead of runner-ups Albright and the F&M "white" team. Cameron Warner of F&M won medalist honors with a one-under 70, leading the pack of 76 competitors.

The Blazers travel to the Wild Quail Country Club Friday and Saturday for the 36-hole Capital Athletic Conference championship in Wyoming, Del., and hosted by Wesley College.
