Alger Cards Six-Over 78 at Messiah Invitational

HARRISBURG, Pa.--Sophomore Andy Alger of the Hood College men's golf team shot a six-over-par 78 to tie for 14th place out of 82 competitors at the Messiah College Falcon Classic Wednesday at the Blue Ridge Country Club.

Alger was five strokes off the pace, set by Marymount University's Kevin Thomsen who carded a one-over 73. Evan Chaney also competed in the tournament and finished with a 92 (+20).

The Blazers' final tournament of the fall is slated for Monday at Franklin & Marshall College.
