HAMPSTEAD, Md.--The Hood College men's golf team (0-1) lost to the Stevenson University Mustangs Thursday in Hampstead, Md.

The Blazer foursome carded a 358 on the afternoon, 12 strokes higher than the Mustang contingent (346).

Andy Alger shot the lowest round of the day for Hood with a 78, one shot away from attaining medalist honors. Stevenson's Matt Lukehart fired a 77 to claim top individual honors. Ryan Junghans finished with an 83 while Evan Chaney (92) and Daniel Reid (115) rounded out the foursome.

Hood's next competition is set for Monday, Sept. 22, at the Lebanon Valley College Invitational in Annville, Pa.
