Free Fan Bus, Tickets Available to Hood/Mary Washington Playoff Game
FREDERICK, Md.--The Hood College office of student activities is once again sponsoring a free charter bus and free admission for Hood College students, staff and faculty interested in supporting the Blazers in their Capital Athletic Conference semifinal game at the University of Mary Washington Thursday.
The charter bus will depart from the Hood Athletic Center at 5 p.m. and arrive at Mary Washington in time for the 8 p.m. tip between the sixth-seeded Blazers and second-seeded Eagles.
Sign up for the fan bus outside the Student Life Suite or send an email to HoodRSVP@hood.edu with "Basketball Bus" in the subject line by 5 p.m. Wednesday. Admission to the game for all fans riding the charter bus is free, compliments of Hood College president Dr. Ron Volpe. The charter bus will depart from the front of Alumnae Hall. Admission for fans not traveling on the fan bus is $6 for adults and $3 for students with an ID.
Fans unable to travel to Thursday's game can listen to Hood's free live audio broadcast of the game online or follow the play-by-play using Mary Washington's livestats feature and video streaming viewer.
