Andy Baker from men’s golf and Kayli Paugh from softball have been named Hood College’s Athlete’s of the Week for April 30, 2018.
Baker shot an 83 in the second round by a single stroke with a 36-hole 157 at the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth Championships at the Hershey Country Club's East Course. Alvernia's Keith Noonan finishes with an 81 in the second round and a 36-hole score of 157, putting him into a tie with Baker who shot 74-83-157. A score was accidentally misreported to the scorers' table but was recorded correctly on the player's scorecard and golfers are responsible for only the hole scores, not the totals. He has been declared the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth co-champion and co-player of the year.
