• Fall 2010 Group Swimming Lessons (September 27 - November 20)

  • Pre-Registration begins August 23rd at 9 a.m. (in-person only)
  • Open Registration begins August 30th at 9 a.m. (online or in-person)
• Parking and Directions 
  • The entrance to the Outdoor Pool is through the back gate. 
  • Students are now back on campus so parking is limited. 
  • Parking on campus Monday - Friday is restricted to the Chapel Lot. You will need a Parking Pass to park in the Chapel Lot. This is a FREE pass. Members and group lesson participants may register for a pass at the outdoor pool office.

• Winter and Annual Memberships are available to the public.
  • At this time we are not able to accept Pool Membership registrations online.
  • We are working to resolve this as quickly as possible.
  • You can print a Registration Form and mail it to Hood Aquatics or register at the pool.

To schedule a pool party or for information on our water aerobics classes please email us or call (301) 696-3484. To register online you need either a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover or, if you wish to register by mail, you can print the registration form and mail it to: Hood College Aquatics, 401 Rosemont Ave, Frederick, MD 21701.

Hood Aquatics offers three heated pools!!!

• The Bubble is a 6-lane 25 yard heated pool with an extended shallow end area. During the summer this is an outdoor pool. In the fall, winter, and spring we put a bubble over the pool so it can be used year round. We use this pool for lap swim, rec swim, lessons, swim team and pool parties. When the bubble is up the water temperature is about 82 degrees.
• Our children's wading pool ranges from 1-2 feet deep and the water temperature is kept at about 86 degrees. This pool is for children 5 years old and younger with parent supervision. We also use this pool for swim lessons.
• The Hodson Indoor pool is a 4-lane 20 yard heated pool. During open hours this pool is used only for lap swimming. We also run swim team practices, swim lessons, water aerobics classes and host pool parties here. The water temperature is kept at 83-84 degrees.
